Sleepy Projects drainage and CCTV inspection work

Why a camera inspection matters

Root intrusion, cracked pipes, and misaligned joints usually can't be seen or reliably guessed at from the surface. A CCTV drain camera lets us record the true condition of your line — so any recommendation is based on what we actually saw, not an assumption.

Our process

What to expect

1

Access & setup

We locate the best access point — an existing inspection opening where possible. Raising a lid or creating access is subject to site conditions.

2

Camera run

The camera is run through the line, recording condition, material, joints and any defects along the way.

3

Findings & recommendation

We walk you through what was found and recommend next steps — jetting, repair, or further investigation.

What is jetting?

High-pressure water jetting uses a specialised nozzle to fire controlled jets of water through the line, scouring the pipe wall as it goes. It's effective on grease, sludge, silt and general build-up, and can cut through root intrusion that a standard drain machine can't clear. Because it cleans the full diameter of the pipe rather than just punching a hole through a blockage, it also leaves the line in a better state for an accurate camera inspection afterwards.

It needs suitable site access, a water supply and a safe point of discharge, so we confirm those details — along with a mechanical drain machine as the alternative where jetting access isn't practical — as part of quoting the job, not on the day.
